Sources of psychological stresses facing the players of the Palestinian universities' teams in the governorates of Gaza

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the sources of psychological stress facing Palestinian university players. The researcher followed the descriptive approach for its suitability to the nature of the study. The researcher chose the research sample in a deliberate way from the students participating in the school sports teams. The research sample amounted to (188) players, and the researcher used the questionnaire as a tool. For data collection, the results of the study revealed the degree of medium stress among the sample members, and the study revealed that there were statistically significant differences between the average scores of the sample members due to the variable of sex, and the absence of statistically significant differences due to the university or game variable, and the study recommended paying attention to the psychological aspects of the players by the coaches and sports administrators.
