Abstract

The objective of this study is to discover the reality of the process of selection
of players in Algerian football and its ability to follow the scientific process in
the form of tests and measurements. However, the reality of Algerian soccer
game shows the defect of this system conserved in weak of local Player
Appointment in the national team. On this basis, this descriptive study aims to reveal the reality of the process and the methods used in the selection of football players under the age of 20. Where our inquiry tells us the absence of scientific methods. Based on this we have recommended our coaches to use scientific methods based on physical tests and skills in order to avoid the loss
