Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the nature of the relationship between body itself and some functional variations of football players during selection, as well as to know the differences between football players during tests according to their positions game and their regions. To do this, it was assumed that a relationship exists between the body itself and functional variations among soccer players according to their positions, and this to answer the question: This relationship does exist?
For this, we used the relational descriptive approach on a sample of 171 randomly selected players (88.60%) on a set of research comprised of 193 players from four high schools in three sports region of the country (west - center - east) and to collect the results, it was tested to measure the functional variations as well as the body itself.
Then, after a statistical treatment of results, we concluded that there is a positive relationship between physical self and functional variations among soccer players according to their playing positions and evidence are apparent in the test results by region .
Finally, the researchers propose of need to take into consideration the psychological side that has an impact on the other sides including during selection
