Résumé

Resisted Sled sprint training has been shown to improve sprint perfomance. Our study compares the effects of two resisted sled training, with a weight equal to 15% of the subject's mass, on the mechanical sprint perfomance (F0 , V0 , time performance) in young soccer players (N=16). The acceleration and speed of the players was analyzed before and after the training program, after the pre-test the players were randomly divided into three groups, a control group (C), a group who performing a combined training (resisted sled sprint + sprint unloded) (C+S) or who performing a training with resisted sled sprint only (CH). Each group performed two sprints trainings per week during four weeks. After the training programs, the C+S and CH groups had significant improved in time performance of the 0-30 m : 4.70±0.16 to 4.55±0.09 seconds (p=0.02) and 5.11±0.28 to 4.92±0.24 seconds (p=0.04) respectively. A little higher improved was observed for the CH group (3.71% versus 3.19%). The CH group also had a significant gain over 0-20 m : 3.75±0.23 to 3.58±0.18 seconds (p=0.04). In conclusion, the training method with sled training only seems to allow better enhancements for 30 m but also gains for 20 m.
