The extent of the professional sports media’s contribution to addressing the phenomenon of violence inside Algerian football stadiums

Through this study, we aim to identify the role played by the media and professional sports press in reducing and reducing the
phenomenon of violence in national football stadiums, which has affected the sports movement in society in general and the image of national football in particular.
To achieve the aim of the study, we relied on the descriptive and analytical approach appropriate to the nature of the study. While the original population for the research was represented by a group of 120 football supporters and a number of 20 professional sports journalists. The sample was chosen intentionally: 30 football supporters and 15 professional sports journalists from different
newspapers and channels.
After analyzing the results of the questionnaire, we found that the sports media has a prominent role in reducing and limiting violence in stadiums in the first degree and raising the level of sports support for national football in the second degree
