The Effect of Guided discovery style in development of Réflective thinking During lessons of physical education and sports to secondary school students

This study aimed to know the effect of the guided discovery style in development of Reflective Thinking During lessons of physical education and sports to secondary school students according to the sports activities external practice factor. The study sample consisted of (71) students distributed among two groups , They were randomly assigned to two groups ,The expremental group (36) students were taught using the guided discovery style, The control group (35) students were taught using traditional teaching style.
In order to achieve the objectives of the study, an experimental method with quasi-experimental design is used, one tool are used in collecting data of the study : The scale of Reflective Thinking in lessons of physical
education and sports .
Results of the study showed that the guided discovery style led to the development of Reflective Thinking in physical education and sports lessons, Non-interaction between the teaching style and sports activities external practice factor in development of Reflective Thinking in a sample’s study.
