The state of competition anxiety according to the order of the teams in the western regional section of basketball

Abstract

The study aims to identify the state of competition anxiety according to the order of the teams in the Western Regional Basketball Championship, a sample of 36 representing 03 teams was used, chosen by the intentional method. Reproduced his Arabic image, Muhammad Hassan Allawi, after collecting data and processing it statistically, the self-confidence dimension ranked first,
followed by the cognitive dimension, and in the last rank was the physical dimension. There are statistically significant differences in the self-confidence dimension due to the ranking variable. Physical anxiety due to the ranking variable, the study recommended the attention of  psychological tests for athletes and the development of a psychological preparation program for athletes.
