Our study aims to evaluate the effect of HIIT training on the profile: anthropometric, physiological and physical of sedentary people over 40 years old.
We used the experimental methodology through the implementation of a pre-test and a post-test of the FNS on 10 sedentary (age: 45,900 ± 5,486 years, BMI: 33,513 ± 4,960 Kg/m²). This team practiced HIIT-based training in the forest 2-3 times a week, at a rate
of 30'-90' per session, which is spread over a period of eight weeks. The analysis of the results obtained showed: A statistically very highly significant difference for red blood cells, hemoglobin, hematocrit and MCV (p<0.001), a statistically highly significant
difference for TCMH, CCMH (p<0.01) and no statistically significant difference for CDI
