Mots-clés :

This research evaluates the impact of a specific training program on the physical and technical performance of taekwondo practitioners by comparing two groups: a control group that did not follow the program and an experimental group that participated in it. Performance was assessed using Squat Jump, Countermovement Jump (CMJ), Drop Jump tests, as well as strikes with elastic resistance and on a punching bag. The control group showed modest, non- significant improvement in most tests, except for CMJ (1.13%). In contrast, the experimental group exhibited significant improvements in all tests, with progress rates ranging from 5.67% to 10.99%. These results confirm the effectiveness of the specific training program in enhancing the physical and technical abilities of athletes, suggesting that this type of program could be beneficial for the physical preparation of taekwondo practitioners.
