Abstract

The study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the proposed physical fitness program in improving some physiological variables (BMI - heart rate in rest) in the elderly. The experimental reseachers used a sample of 20 persons aged 50-60, Of two groups, a trial group (10) and a control group (10) using a physical fitness program, and two tests to measure body mass index and heartbeat in rest.
The study produced the following results:
- The proposed physical fitness program has a positive effect on improving BMI and heart rate in the case of rest in the study sample
