Abstract

This study aimed to get acquainted with the teaching competencies necessary for the preparation of physical education teacher in the Gaza Strip in 2011, in order to promote it and reach record levels ideal, and the researcher used the descriptive analytical study sample consisted of indigenous (100) teachers of physical education teachers and sports out of ( 316) by 31% of the population of this study were randomly selected, and a community study of physical education teachers in the Gaza Strip, the researcher used a questionnaire consisting of (70) items belong to the dimensions (personal and professional - planning and good performance of the lesson - the formulation of objectives - classroom management and human relations - Monitoring and Evaluation), and the results were medium rates, and should therefore be reconsidered in the preparation of physical education teacher so that is consistent with the requirements and necessary and promotion.
