Abstract

The study aims to identify the effectiveness of a play-based training program in developing some motor skills for a sample composed of 20 autistic children in Mostaganem were deliberately selected. For this purpose, we used the quasi-experimental approach by designing two experimental and control groups and by conducting a pre and post measurement and a program based on sports motor activities and motor skills test. After collecting the results and having treated them statistically, we conclude There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups after applying the program on the motor skills scale of autistic children in favor of the experimental group. And between the mean ranks of the scores of the autistic children between the two applications of the pre and post proposal program in favor of the post application. On this basis, the study recommended The necessity of adopting such programs based on play and sports activities in developing the different cognitive skills of people with special needs
