Analytical study of the psychological, health and mental dimensions of sports practice and their relationship to the motivation for academic excellence

The present study aims to identify the health, mental and psychological dimensions of sports practice among high school students (15-18 years) during the physical education and sports lesson. The descriptive approach has been used in the investigation of study; 100 students participated as a sample of study. We used the questionnaire prepared by the researcher. The study revealed the following results: There is a correlation between motivation and sports practice. The study recommended the necessity of practicing the physical education class at the secondary level, because of its benefits.
