The Reality of Intellectual Capital practices in the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth in Oman

The study aims to identify the reality of intellectual capital practices at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth in Oman in the sports aspect. The descriptive survey method was used to achieve the objectives of the study, the questionnaire as a tool
for data collection, and a community of all (649) employees in the sports administration in the ministry. The sample consisted
of (178) workers representing the community, and the results showed that the intellectual capital and its axes (human, structural, relations) are at an average level, and there is an interest in accepting the ideas and suggestions of the workers and strengthening the internal relations between the directorates, departments and divisions, and showed the weakness of the development mechanisms in the training programs, Weak organizational culture related to employee behavior analysis.
The study also recommended the adoption of more specialized measurement tools for the performance of employees and the
use of the results in determining training needs
