Abstract

identify distance communication technology and its impact on the educational attainment of students of information and communication sciences, in addition to identifying the most important difficulties that hinder the achievement process, based on the theory of uses and gratifications, and this study belongs to descriptive studies, where it was relied on The case study approach through the method of non-probability sampling by choosing the intentional sample represented by 200 students of information and communication sciences from the licence and master stages, and the study concluded that the main motive for students’ use of distance communication technology in educational achievement is due to the ease of rapid access, continuous and accurate updating of information and ease of use In addition to being a practical alternative to physical education, students, on the other hand, face many difficulties, most notably the difficulty of accessing the digital ground, as well as the failure of the content on the platform to satisfy the respondents’ desires.
