Abstract

Through this paper, we discuss the knowledge of the transgressive and overlapping relationship of variables that affect each other to ensure the continuity of the wheel of communication, interaction, and sharing of opinions in society. These variables: public opinion, media, and elites, in light of communication technology, have become a significant place in modern societies, under the dominance of The impact of the media on the stability of the authorities at all levels (legislative, executive, judicial), where communication technology and the developments it produced have strengthened the relationship of the media and its modern means in shaping and directing public opinion with the influence of the elites in their various specializations (media, academic, political...etc), Considering that the media and the elites are among the active variables in shaping public opinion and its trends, and the media in its various forms is a major determinant among the most important determinants produced by modern communication technology due to the size of its relationship with public opinion and the formation of its attitudes towards political, social and economic issues that permeate its daily life.
