Abstract

The study aims to identify the contribution of psychological preparation, cognitive preparation, and emotional preparation in enhancing the performance level of football players on teams competing for promotion. For this purpose, we used a descriptive method on a sample of 30 players from the senior team of Mouloudia Saïda, chosen randomly. To collect data, we used a tool to measure the reality of psychological preparation for national teams. After gathering and statistically processing the results, it was found that psychological preparation contributes to improving players' performance, followed by cognitive preparation and emotional preparation. Based on this, the study recommended the need for comprehensive training for players and the development of psychological skills, along with enhancing self-confidence and acquiring necessary motor skills
