This study aims to identify the features of Algerian political communication through one of the most popular and most prevalent social networking sites in Algeria, through a field study on a sample of followers of Algerian political parties pages via Facebook, to show the mechanisms of Algerian political parties’ practice of political communication via Facebook and the strategies they follow in addition To how the site's users interact with its publications and the obstacles to political communication practiced by these parties through this virtual space.This study concluded that the political communication practiced by political parties via Facebook is more in the nature of presentation than discussion and is characterized by discontinuity in terms of the continuity of temporal presence through this site, and provides contents that are brief and simple in presentation.
