The role of live broadcasting through social networking sites in enhancing social relations -Tik Tok is an example-

Abstract

Through this study, we aim to identify the role that the Tik Tok application represents as a virtual platform for communication used by young people in forming social relationships that are enhanced through the use of the live broadcast feature, and based on the descriptive approach to study the subject, we applied the questionnaire to a sample of 50 students. College of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Martyr Sheikh Al-Arabi Al-Tebsi, and the study concluded that live broadcasting through social networking sites, such as the application of Tik Tok, plays an important role in strengthening social relations. In particular, the relationship of kinship, friendship and economic relations, where continuous interaction and direct communication through the application enhance social communication and the promotion of social relations in a positive way.
