This article deals with the media treatment of international security and political crises by satellite television channels. This media treatment varies from one media channel to another for various reasons, including what is related to the media institution and what is associated with the economic, political and cultural context. Satellite television channels are the most attractive media for the masses during crises because they transmit events by sound and image. The study aims to analyze the relationship of television media to security crises, based on a descriptive and critical reading, starting from the theoretical identification of the characteristics of media processing to the presentation of some models for media coverage in television channels about the Vietnam crises, the Gulf 2 and 3 and the Russian-Ukrainian war. The study came to the conclusion that media processing is influenced by internal factors related to the media organization and external factors related to political, economic and cultural contexts... Thus, objectivity is just an illusion imposed by the theoretical literature in the field of media.
