Keywords:
Algorithms, Digital Emotional Manipulation, Digital Platforms, Content Engineering, Mood ModificationAbstract
This study examines algorithmic emotional control and digital content engineering mechanisms. It illustrates how algorithms transitioned from organizational tools into influential psychological agents, The research reveals platforms' capacity for mass emotional contagion via data stream manipulation, Drawing on WHO reports, it analyzes persuasive design features like infinite scroll functions. These features establish neural reinforcement loops that trigger significant mood disorders, Findings show a positive correlation between personalized algorithms and increased anxiety and loneliness. This is notably prevalent among adolescents, reflecting a gap between conscious choice and output. The study recommends regulatory frameworks to ensure transparency and protect emotional autonomy, Finally, it promotes digital literacy as a fundamental defense against cyberspace manipulation
