Abstract
This research aims to understand how video clips are employed in raising awareness about forest fires by adopting the survey method, using content analysis and observation tools to study the research population, which consists of 31 video clips published on the official Facebook page of the Algerian Ministry of Interior. The SPSS software was also used to calculate the frequencies and percentages of the categories under analysis. The study results revealed that the language used in all the clips was Modern Standard Arabic, and that the nature of the videos was predominantly news reports. It was further found that the primary objective of publishing these clips was to inform the public by conveying news related to forest fires.
