Abstract

This study aimed to highlight the role of digital communication in managing the COVID-19 crisis in healthcare institutions. With the management of health crises becoming one of the most critical issues to address, this study sought to shed light on the wise crisis management at Al-Hakim Darban Hospital during the COVID-19 crisis. It aimed to understand the strategies and methods used by Al-Hakim Darban Hospital to limit the spread of the COVID-19 crisis. The study employed a descriptive methodology and a survey tool. The study found that doctors used social media platforms and the hospital's official website to reach a larger audience. They employed various strategies, including gathering all information about the crisis, and providing advice and awareness campaigns through digital platforms to reduce misinformation, correct it, and avoid causing panic and fear within the community.
