Qualitative Data Processing : An Overview

Abstract

Qualitative data processing in the digital age is very important for scientific research. This paper presents an overview of this process through reviewing the specialized literature in this field. It suggests some qualitative research definitions and clarifies the relationship between it and e-science, highlighting how to take advantage of technological development and computing in the processing of qualitative. Finally, it refers to some computer programs for processing qualitative data.
