This article deals with the subject of the theory of freedom. It presents the historical events that led to it and explains the positive and negative consequences it has obtained; and this by criticizing it from an angle that evaluates the nature of the freedom that constitutes its foundation. Ultimately, this article succeeds in demonstrating that the freedom attributed to the media is only an asset of expression that appears to have the character of a continuous human need.
