Abstract

     Media is one of the most important sources of thought and knowledge in society, there can be no change in a society away from the use of media, where it is a main means of explaining and conveying the new changes that will take place in society and its structure, by affecting its values positively or negatively, and the media play a key role in spreading culture and establishing values, especially the values of citizenship, loyalty and belonging.

     The researcher's choice for this topic stemmed from the importance of media treatment of the values of citizenship, and through this research paper will recognize the role of the media in activating the values of citizenship, it is not possible to talk about citizenship without standing in the media coverage station for it, where the media not only deals with citizenship in an awareness role, but in one way or another plays an important role in promoting citizenship,  In addition to his role in raising awareness among the segments of society.
