Abstract
This study addressed an important problem: social media and home lockdown between restriction and positioning. The study main objective were first to measure the forms of impact of social networking sites during the lockdown period. The second objective was to measure to what extent social networking sites might replace other real interactive spheres such as television channels and realistic social relations. Besides, the study aims at investigating the relationship between the home lockdwon and the increase or decrease in the social media use. Finally, the study envisaged the influence of social media on the degree of awareness and responsibility towards the pandemic of Corona virus
