Abstract

This study aims to identify the role played by virtual groups on Facebook in academic communication between university students, and seeks to ensure the effectiveness of these groups, especially with their wide spread due to their advantages that allowed the exchange of scientific material on the one hand and academic dialogue among its members on the other hand. This work was based on a field study based on the survey method and the questionnaire tool. The results of the study showed that the speed of access to information and the desire to benefit from the members experiences is the reason why students use virtual groups, especially with regard to searching for studies and scientific research and following up on news College and access to lessons related to the study scale.
