The impact of social media platforms users trends on Al Jazeera's program agenda "NACHRATUKUM"

Abstract

by social media platforms on newsrooms editors work at satellite TV channels, especially the trends impact in the Arab region on Al Jazeera's news agenda construction , which provides newshole to the most trending topics on social platforms in the Arab region and the world, through the evening news "Nashratukum" . To achieve the research objective, the researcher used a content analysis tool to study the social media platforms users trends  impact  on the news program " Nashratukum"  ,  also adopted a purposive sample of  program journalists and editors . The study concluded that the "Nashratukum" team is not  only using  artificial intelligence data in identifying prevailing trends, but also has other methods and sources. The editorial standards of the channel limit the strong impact of user trends in the Arab region on the channel's news agenda.
