This study, titled "Scientific Popularization of Medical Terms Related to Chronic Diseases on Health Websites: Analytic Study on Health Website ESSAHA," examines how ESSAHA popularizes medical terms related to chronic diseases. Through content analysis, we identified a predominant focus on news reporting, with a significant but less frequent emphasis on analytical and explanative articles. Despite covering major chronic diseases like cancer and diabetes, the site lacks interactive features and multimedia content, limiting user engagement and comprehensive health education and scientific popularizations of medical terms. Enhancing these areas could improve ESSAHA’s effectiveness in health communication and scientific popularization of medical terms in general and those related to chronic diseases.
