Abstract

    Numerous studies indicate a close relationship between politics and comedy that stretches back thousands of years. Over time, this relationship has evolved, giving rise to new forms, most notably political satire. This form of communication and media practice has grown significantly with the development of the digital environment. In this context, we can mention programs like "The Daily Show" and "Nas Satah," which aim to highlight political issues by conveying information and educating individuals to shape and guide opinions, thereby stimulating and encouraging political participation. This led us to investigate the impact of political satire on individuals by examining its effects on political participation.

   This study aims to explore the impact of political satire on individuals by examining the variables of participation, political effectiveness, and political knowledge and awareness.
