Abstract
The study entitled "The press coverage of the issue of civil peace in Sudan - the issue of Darfur as a model." The study aims to determine the size and type of press coverage and its role in determining the dimensions of the case. The study is part of descriptive studies and follows the survey method and the content analysis is used as a data tool collection. The sample size is 456 selected by the regular random sample using the industrial week method. One of the most important findings of the study is that it reveals that most of the coverage is on the second page. Moreover, the study shows that the newspaper resorts to the use of sub-headlines in the presentation of the article.
