Islamic values in the Algerian written press: a descriptive and analytical study of the daily newspaper Al-Shorouk

The study aims to identify the Islamic values included in the Algerian written press employed to confront the intellectual and cultural invasion in Algerian society. This is done by extracting them from the daily newspaper "Echourouk," which is considered one of the most prominent newspapers in Algeria, relying on the content analysis of the religion, society, and culture pages published from January to December 2021 in this newspaper, which was chosen through a simple random selection.
The study concluded that the Al-Shorouk El-Yawmi newspaper focuses on highlighting moral values more than others, and it clearly and evidently supports such values, relying on the Holy Quran as the highest source of testimony.
