Smartphones: Technology at the service of education-Field study

Abstract

The current study attempts to investigate the attitudes of the doctoral students of the Faculty of Economic and commercial sciences and management at the University of Msila towards the utilization of mobile technologies in the educational process to get a clear understanding of the sudden change of its traditional function -communication and entertainment- into becoming a very effective tool in the higher education sector, According to the randomly distributed online survey tool.

 The results obtained from the analysis of their answers expressed positive attitude towards the use of the smartphone in the educational process with no statistical significance differences attributed to the study variables.
