Abstract

It is known that semiotics is a modern science, although its application has been advanced in multiple places, such as medicine, engineering, etc., and the sciences of information and communication as science, looking at the subtleties of multiple connotations of images, language, signs, appendices, etc., has recently adopted this science, but at very narrow levels.


With the development of the media and its multiple forms in the transmission of the event, and with the clear influence it is playing in the economic, social, cultural and political policy of States, the semiotic research into information and communication sciences has taken on the utmost importance of examining the manifestations, effects, dimensions and subtleties of such images and languages, especially since this era is characterized by the age of image with distinction. How is it currently applied to information and communication research? What additions have you made to this science and what are the alphabets and steps of the sociological analysis of the image according to Rolan Barth?
