Union Work and the Ethics of the Media Profession in Algeria

Abstract

This research paper aims to highlight and give a clear picture about the impact of trade union work on the Algerian media sector, in an attempt to assess its reality and importance and diagnose the joints of defects that hinder it from performing its role Journalism in Algeria, in addition to the active role played by trade unions within the media and press space, through the defense of media freedom and the promotion of the journalistic profession, and to identify the difficulties and challenges they face Media? And how effective is it in improving the ethics of the journalistic and media profession in Algeria? The descriptive and analytical approach has been relied upon, which is appropriate for this type of studies, and appropriate to understand the problem.
