This study analyzes the role of Arab investigative journalism in combating corruption by examining professional media practices. It emphasizes investigative journalism as an essential tool for exposing corruption and ensuring accountability. However, its effectiveness remains limited due to weak professional structures and a lack of investigative culture. Additional challenges include insufficient resources, limited access to information, and inadequate legal protection for journalists. Political pressure, censorship, and restricted institutional independence further hinder investigative reporting. Despite these constraints, independent initiatives and digital platforms have supported the growth of investigative journalism and the exposure of corruption cases. The study concludes that stronger legal frameworks, greater press freedom, and enhanced institutional transparency are necessary to improve the impact of investigative journalism in the Arab world
