Abstract

This paper aims to reveal the role of local Algerian radios in promoting the social integration of members of local communities in the different Algerian willayas and their contribution to the construction of the citizenship society through a descriptive analytical study of politics media of local radios in Algeria. The study concludes a number of results, the most important of which is functional support between the social and media system; local radio supports society to stabilize and promote social integration and the values of citizenship and belonging among members of the local community. In addition to its attempt to preserve the national identity and devote all the components of the local Algerian culture.
