News Coverage Frameworks of COVID-19 Crisis in Arab Electronic Newspapers Websites (An Analytical Study)

This study analyses the news coverage content of the Arab electronic newspapers websites of COVID-19 Crisis. This study is one of the descriptive studies employing the survey method along with the descriptive, analytical and the comparative approaches. The researcher has relied on using a content analysis tool for data collection on a regular random sample of (800) news items (news, report and news story) within the period from 1/4/2020 to 1/6/2021. The study sample covers (Al-Bayan, Al-Ahram, Assayha and Annahar). The results show that the preventive and safety measures and the economic impacts, the health frameworks, the press news, the feature of immediacy and the magnitude and size have come first with 13%, 49%, 75%, 38% and 48% of the total topics published, the total media frameworks used, the news context in the news coverage, the total similarities among newspapers and the total similarities respectively.
