Main Article Content
Abstract
Through this study on the treatment of Algerian journalists with social networking sites as a source of news, and Facebook in particular, through an analytical field study on a sample of journalists at Glizan Regional Radio, we have selected the analytical descriptive method for collecting data on how they deal with the Facebook platform and the ethical standards on which they rely, and we have relied on the interview tool to interpret the results obtained by the researchers in question to examine the impact of the sites.
We will try to identify journalists' methods of examining news stories and to avoid falling into the trap of false news that might lead them to ethical issues of libel, encroachment on privacy and the intellectual property of the publisher, in order to consider the credibility, accuracy and objectivity of news stories to be a fundamental value that must be taken into account without regard to temporal values of timeliness, press precedent and others, and respect for the principle of the citizen's right to full and objective information.
