Uses of electronic journalism by Algerian university students

Abstract

The development of information and communication technologies has led to a considerable change in the competition map in the field of journalism, in particular that of electronics. This has enabled the electronic press to benefit from technological developments following the improvement of the offer in terms of content, form, printing and distribution.

             This study aims to identify the uses of electronic journalism by university students, and the motivations that underlie it, in particular with the increasing dissemination of its readability. To achieve this, a sample of media and communication science students was selected from the University of May 8, 1945, Guelma. To identify the characteristics of the phenomenon and arrive at the desired results, a descriptive approach was used.            

             The study revealed the importance of electronic journalism and its increased readability among student circles due to the ease of navigation and depth of analysis of various subjects.
