This paper aims to elucidate the transformative role of electronic journalism as an interactive mass media platform, enabling unprecedented information exchange. The unique attributes of electronic journalism are central to online publishing, necessitating an understanding of these characteristics for successful e-journalism. The evolution of electronic newspapers extends beyond the medium's enhancement as a communication conduit, affecting all stakeholders in the process. Information became disseminated through networks under hypertext messages. The relationship between content creators and audiences has been redefined by interactivity and role exchange. The information revolution has eliminated traditional barriers such as geographical, temporal, linguistic, and cultural constraints.
