Abstract

This study is concerned with analyzing models from Arab and foreign research on the phenomenon of fake news, with the aim of monitoring scientific developments and valuable results in this field, and identifying theoretical and cognitive approaches and approaches that have been relied upon, in an attempt to provide scientific additions and insights. We adopted a future approach to develop research on this phenomenon The methodology of second-level analysis-meta analysis studies, which is a method based on the systematic analytical review of studies and research that are published in a specific field over an extended period of time and from a variety of sources. This study was applied to an intentional sample represented in all Arab and foreign research that dealt with false news published on the ASJP platform from the years 2020 to 2023, and the sample included 40 research.
