Abstract
This study aims to stand on the importance of negotiation as a communicative process in managing crises of different sizes and types by doing an analytical reading of the negotiating strategies and crises used by OPEC in its management of the price crisis, In our study, we relied on the descriptive approach in an attempt to describe the phenomenon accurately by identifying the crisis and its actual causes and how negotiation, its foundations and methods in managing this crisis contributed to diagnosing the strategies used and their effectiveness in reaching accurate scientific solutions.
The results of the study concluded that OPEC relies heavily on negotiation, which is what happened in its management of the oil price crisis. On the external level, on the other hand, with companies and countries outside the organization.
