School Climate and its Relationship to the Quality of Education in Primary Schools: A Field Study in Some Primary Schools in Mostaganem

This study aimed to investigate the correlational relationship between school climate and the quality of education in primary schools, and to identify differences in school climate and the quality of education attributed to job title (principal and teacher). Two scales for school climate and quality of education, developed by the researcher, were administered. Data was collected from 200 principals and teachers who were serving in primary schools in Mostaganem province, with an average age of 39.88 year and a standard deviation of 8.274 year. The results revealed a strong positive, and significant correlational relationship between school climate and the quality of education in primary schools. In addition there were no statistically significant differences in the scores of school climate and quality of education attributed to job title (principal and teacher).
