Abstract

New media in providing many services and in all fields, especially after the emergence of social networking sites, which has become an important media platform through which the individual obtains information, ideas and opinions. We have completed this study  in order to know the role of these sites, and specifically face book ,in achieving health awareness.

Our study reached results ,the most important of which is that nature of the topics published by the face book  pages is educational, and it relies on mental methods in dealing with it, and that one of its most important goals is to achieve health awareness .
