Abstract
This study aimed to identify public communication mechanisms to promote public service in the local administration. To achieve the goal of the study, we relied on the case study approach by conducting the study in the Boumerdes State People’s Assembly and relying on the descriptive analytical approach to analyze the data. A questionnaire form was designed as a tool to collect data and distribute it to the council’s 40 employees. The study concluded that the effectiveness of public communication is achieved through activating channels of communication and dialogue and modernizing local administration.
