Abstract

This study aims to highlight the role of public relations in managing tourism crises at the Directorate of Tourism and Traditional Industries in Tebessa. It adopts a descriptive approach, relying primarily on a questionnaire as the main tool for data collection. The questionnaire was distributed to a purposive sample of 30 employees working in the public relations unit and the human resources department. The findings indicate that the public relations department plays an effective role in managing crises both within and outside the tourism institution. However, the study also revealed certain shortcomings in public relations practices, particularly in their interaction with the media
