Abstract

It does not only change communication from linear model to convergence/interactive model but it has created also a virtual sphere for expression and discussion about several interests and different matters. These applications were an available technique tool for all individuals, people who appropriate it, can have a strong presence in digital arena where in the age of classic media was not possible. The audiences have to receive content without participating in its creation. Social media now open the digital sphere for all social classes and gave them the opportunity to express themselves and defend their rights and their principles. Especially for the Arab women who were marginalized by the society in all decades because of some social and cultural obstacles, despite the fact that digital and gender divide in the Arabic public sphere, Arab women could finally direct their discourse and their speech through this space.
