Abstract
The study examines the nature of the professional and ethical values that define the media message through the digital space from the point of view of the electronic journalist, where the media message is built on certain goals through which the journalist tries to deliver a meaningful message, as our study aims to describe and analyze the professional and ethical standards specified for the message through the Algerian electronic press. , through a survey of the opinions of professionals in four news sites. The aim of this study is to investigate the extent to which website journalists are committed to professional and ethical responsibility in the media presentation and treatment method, and to identify the journalists' perception of the role of the press and their perception of their tasks and the professional ethics followed in news processing.
